Providers on our hospital medicine team are wholly dedicated to serving patients of Intercoastal Medical Group while they are in the hospital. The Intercoastal Medical Group Hospital Medicine Department was created to better serve our patients admitted to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Doctors Hospital, and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. These physicians are specialists in inpatient medicine and know how to efficiently use all the resources available at the hospital to provide your care.

As our patient, you can be assured that this team of professionals has been carefully selected by your Intercoastal physician to provide you with timely care. Being in direct contact with your Intercoastal physician(s) allows the hospitalist to be an extension of your physician, providing continuous care for your medical needs.

Inpatient Care at Area Hospitals, Exclusively for Intercoastal Patients

Our hospitalists have privileges at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Doctors Hospital and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, where they see only Intercoastal patients who have been admitted for inpatient services. Our hospital medicine providers have access to your medical records and communicate directly with your Intercoastal Medical Group primary care and/or specialist physician to maintain continuity of care.
