- Current FL Licensure for LPN
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong Computer Skills
- Basic HIPAA Knowledge
- LPN Experience (may be required for some openings)
Responsibilities may include (but not limited to):
- Triage patients (vitals, clinical history intake, etc.)
- Injections
- EKGs
- Obtain insurance authorization (medications and/or ancillary testing and/or procedures)
- Utilization of the electronic medical record
- Triage clinical messages
- Manage prescription requests
- Schedule appointments
- Assist the provider during in-office procedures

Responsibilities may include but not limited to (and vary by position):
- Phone Operator: answer all incoming office calls, transcribe messages, and schedule/reschedule appointments
- Medical Records: scan medical documents, manage medical record requests, manage incoming correspondence (faxes and mail)
- Check-In: verify and update patient demographics and insurance information; scan photo identification and insurance cards; update patient consents
- Check-Out: post office visit charges; collect copay/deductible/coinsurance and back balances; schedule appointments; perform daily close
- Authorizations: verify insurance benefits; obtain insurance approval for ordered tests and/or procedures
Requirements (may vary by position):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic HIPAA Knowledge
- Strong Computer Skills
- Basic Math Skills
- Strong Customer Service Experience
- Medical Office Experience Preferred
- Knowledge of Medical and Billing Terminology
